Andrea Antico

Andrea Antico has a B.A. from the University of Texas and a M.L.S. from the University of Denver.  Andrea worked as a school librarian/media specialist in Colorado and for the Department of Defense School System in Bad Kreuznach, Germany, and Atsugi, Japan. She worked as a librarian in the Denver and Aurora Public Schools for 24 years and currently resides in Denver. 

Andrea is a member of the American Pen Women and C.I.P.A., the Colorado Independent Publishers Association where she is the chair of YAL, the Young Authors League of C.I.P.A.’s ELF, an Education and Literacy Foundation. She is also a member of Spellbinders, a Denver organization of storytellers.

Andrea has written several educational articles and authored a teacher-resource book about writing book reports. BUSTER THE BULLY is her first children’s book. THE SUGARPLUM TREE is her second.  It won first place in the C.I.P.A  EVVY Awards, 2020, in children’s literature and a 5-star review in Readers’ Favorite.
