LAURIE MARR WASMUND holds an M.A. in literature from the University of Denver. She has worked as an editor, community college instructor, and writing workshop presenter. Her short stories have appeared in literary magazines such as Cimarron Review and Weber Studies. She is the author of My Heart Lies Here, a novel of the Ludlow Massacre and Clean Cut, A Romance of the Western Heart, which was sponsored by a grant from the Rocky Mountain Women’s Institute. To Walk Humbly, the third book of her White Winter Trilogy, was a 2020 finalist for the Mainstream/Literary book award from the Colorado Authors League. Andrea Antico has a B.A. from the University of Texas and a M.L.S. from the University of Denver.  Andrea worked as a school librarian/media specialist in Colorado and for the Department of Defense School System in Bad Kreuznach, Germany, and Atsugi, Japan. She worked as a librarian in the Denver and Aurora Public Schools for 24 years and currently resides in Denver.  Andrea is a member of the American Pen Women and C.I.P.A., the Colorado Independent Publishers Association where she is the chair of YAL, the Young Authors League of C.I.P.A.’s ELF, an Education and Literacy Foundation. She is also a member of Spellbinders, a Denver organization of storytellers. Andrea has written several educational articles and authored a teacher-resource book about writing book reports. BUSTER THE BULLY is her first children’s book. THE SUGARPLUM TREE is her second.  It won first place in the C.I.P.A  EVVY Awards, 2020, in children’s literature and a 5-star review in Readers’ Favorite. Award-winning author, Linnea Tanner, weaves Celtic tales of love, magical adventure, and political intrigue in Ancient Rome and Britannia. Since childhood, she has passionately read about ancient civilizations and mythology. Of particular interest are the enigmatic Celts, who were reputed as fierce warriors and mystical Druids. She has extensively researched ancient and medieval history, mythology, and archaeology and has traveled to sites described within each of her books in the Curse of Clansmen and Kings series. A Colorado native, Linnea attended the University of Colorado and earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in chemistry. Award winning author Sunny Weber has 30 years in animal welfare advocacy. She is a humane educator, animal behaviorist, and trainer. She believes compelling storytelling reflects her passion for seeing the world through the eyes of the animals she works with and teaches about. Sunny seeks to provide rich, multi-layered stories featuring complicated characters with whom children can identify. Themes and messages within the stories emphasize character-building and responsible decision making.  Her characters and their unique worlds will not only bring more understanding for pets, but also motivate children to read. Sunny has developed educational programs regarding compassion, respect, and care of domestic and wild creatures. She writes extensively on animal issues in fiction, non-fiction, and blogs. Award-winning author Laurel McHargue, a West Point grad, was raised near Boston and somehow found her way to the breathtaking elevation of Colorado’s Rocky Mountains–where she lives and laughs and publishes and podcasts and raises ducks. Tim served with the Marines in Vietnam in the 1960s, which became a basis for his first book, the award-winning Marines Never Cry: Becoming a Man When it Mattered, published in 2017. Post-Marine Corps, Tim earned a master’s degree from the University of Memphis and worked in technical, managerial and senior executive positions in the public, private and nonprofit sectors.  Concurrently, he was an adjunct professor at the graduate and undergraduate levels for many years. Tim has published numerous professional and technical articles and has also contributed to magazines and journals related to his intriguing pastimes – vintage cars and flying, the latter of which became a basis for his second book, Flying Upside Down: Life Lessons for the Faint of Heart. Tim was awarded the distinction and badge of Honorary Lieutenant by the Denver Police Department (DPD) for his decade-long volunteer work with DPD and is currently active in military veterans’ activities and causes. Stan Moore is a husband, father, grandfather; a third generation Coloradan; a graduate of the University of Colorado; an author and historian; a Vietnam veteran; a retired small business owner; an amateur blacksmith, and an avid mountaineer, backpacker and desert rat.  Moore and his wife make their home near Denver with a cat that lets them stay there. Rhys’ passion for writing began with high school publications and still continues. He received his BA degree from the College of William and Mary then began a career with the Federal Government in Washington, DC before transferring to Denver. His government writing included classified Army reports, labor law reporting requirements, a book review for the Monthly Labor Review and position papers on governmental reorganization. After retirement, Rhys has, to date, published three books, two biographies and one comedy. MJ Bell’s love of reading and everything magical is what motived her to jump headfirst into a writing career. Little did she know that only a few years later she would be an award-winning author (Gold award from Mom’s Choice Awards), and have five books published, with more on the way.
